The Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Addiction Treatment, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Program offers a full range of services across the entire continuum of care. Programs provide a supportive environment to begin a journey towards recovery. Services offer a safe and controlled withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines.


Reach NJ

ReachNJ is a central call-in line for New Jersey residents who are looking for help with a substance use disorder (SUD). Each call to ReachNJ is answered by a live person in the first 30 seconds. Trained staff will screen callers to identify their exact needs, are able to provide referrals to supportive services, and a seamless connection to a local treatment provider. ReachNJ serves NJ residents of all ages regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.


New Pathway

At New Pathway, addiction treatment specialists work with adults, teens, and their families to overcome all forms of substance abuse through outpatient treatment. Included in the treatment program is family counseling, positive peer mentorship, and a caring, motivating environment which encourages commitment and yields the highest rate of success for long lasting sobriety.


Northern New Jersey Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Meetings are held daily in-person and online.


NJ 211

NJ 211 is a statewide service which is free, confidential, multilingual, and always open. Individuals can communicate with a community resource specialist who has been educated about federal, state and local systems created to help people who are struggling. Specialists have access to a resource database of over 7,600 community programs and services that assist people who need help with life’s most basic needs, like food, utilities, affordable housing, rental assistance, mental and physical health, substance use disorders, child care, senior needs, legal assistance, transportation, disability services and so much more.
