Paramus Walks


The Paramus Health Department is excited to announce the return of Paramus Walks for its fourth annual season! Our popular walking program kicks off on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, and is designed to help community members build and maintain an active lifestyle.
Join us for a 2-mile walk at Van Saun County Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 AM for eight weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve your health, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

To help our community members form and maintain more active lifestyles, the Paramus Health Department will be holding a 2-mile walk every Wednesday morning for 8 weeks. This program is free and open to Paramus residents of all ages!

The Paramus Health Department will be holding a Narcan Training and Distribution program Wednesday, December 21st from 5pm to 7pm. During the event, community members will learn about the opioid epidemic, and how Narcan can be used to reverse an opioid overdose. The first week in June is National CPR and AED Awareness Week. To raise awareness to the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the Paramus Health Department will be hosting a CPR training program to teach our community how to administer this lifesaving procedure to preserve brain function when a person is in cardiac arrest.
