The Paramus Health Department is staffed with public health professionals experienced in disease outbreak preparedness and response. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Health Department has strengthened and maintained its response to infectious disease, while bolstering initiatives to address other infectious diseases including influenza and HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).
